October 17th, 2021 will mark the return of San Francisco’s beloved Sunday Streets with a bigger than ever program taking place across the City, featuring historic routes and pop-ups, The Cross City Connector Bike Ride, and dozens of neighbor-hosted block parties citywide.

Valencia St

16th St – 24th St

Presented in partnership with Carnaval San Francisco, Sunday Streets Phoenix Day on Valencia will run from 16th Street to 24th Street with car-free fun for the whole family. Featuring live music and dance performances from the Carnaval family + health, biking, and transit resources. Check out all the activities here!

Tenderloin

Larkin & Golden Gate Ave

Presented in partnership with dozens residents and neighborhood organizations, Sunday Streets Phoenix Day in Tenderloin will transform Larkin St from O’Farrell to McAllister St and Golden Gate Ave from Polk St to Jones St into a car-free oasis in the heart of the city. Featuring a pop-up park on Golden Gate Ave, drop-in skate park by Mobile Rec,  dance & performances, community resources and more! Check out all the activities here!

Bayview

Sam Jordan’s Way • Oakdale Ave • Lane St • Yosemite Ave

Presented in partnership with neighborhood-based organizations, Sunday Streets Phoenix Day in Bayview will bring community fun to Sam Jordan’s Way, Oakdale St at 3rd, Lane St between Underwood & Van Dyke Ave, and Yosemite St at Lane & 3rd. Featuring interactive art exhibits, live music, food & retail vendors, + fitness, health, and educational & professional development resources. Check out all the activities here!

Excelsior

Onondaga @ Mission • London @ Geneva

Presented in partnership with EAG & EOMM, Sunday Streets Phoenix Day in Excelsior will take place on Onondaga between Mission St and Alemany Blvd and London St and Geneva, with a huge community clean-up day all along Mission St in the morning. Help make the corridor shine and then enjoy arts & culture resources, live music, restaurant specials, and sidewalk sales in the neighborhood all afternoon. Check out all the activities here!

Grant Ave

Presented in partnership with Chinatown Merchant’s Association, Sunday Streets Phoenix Day in Chinatown will build on Walkway Weekends car-free fun on Grant Avenue to bring recreational activities, community resources, and youth community visioning projects to the streets of this historic and iconically San Francisco neighborhood. Cross City Connector Bike Route

Set out* on the Cross City Connector Bike Route on Phoenix Day to visit Sunday Streets pop-ups and block parties and traverse San Francisco on a fun-filled 20+ mile car-light bike route using the City’s Slow Streets network and car-free Great Highway and JFK Drive in Golden Gate Park.

Ride along* with community and join PODER y Bicis del Pueblo at 12:00pm at Shotwell & 17th St near In Chan Kajaal Park for a slow-paced community ride along the Cross City Connector Bike Route.

ALWAYS RIDE SAFELY* by wearing a helmet, riding with friends, and being prepared with a refillable water bottle and snacks to stay fueled all day.
