Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a group with Sunday Streets! Volunteering before or at the event is a great way to spend time with friends or colleagues while helping diverse communities across San Francisco, engage in outdoor activities, and celebrate their unique neighborhood culture.
Volunteer Opportunities For Individuals

How to schedule a shift

Email volunteer@livablecity.org with the following information:

  1. Name/Type of Group Activity you plan on introducing to Sunday Streets.
  2. Number of volunteers.
  3. Name of group / organization.
  4. Name, phone number, and email of the group leader.

 

Event-Day Opportunities

Hub Support

Setup and breakdown tents, tables and chairs and make Sunday Streets a vibrant community space for all to enjoy.

SHIFT TIMES: 8:00am-12:00pm, 1:30pm-5:30pm

REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 25 lbs

Pre-Event Volunteering

Outreach shifts are flexible, offering day shifts during weekday business hours OR some weekends TBD based upon Volunteer availability and prior to event day needs.

  • Local Business Notification
  • Pole Flyering

Requirements:

  • Must be a Sunday Streets enthusiast!
  • Outgoing
  • Detailed Oriented
