Sunday Streets Tenderloin: the sun was shining, bubbles were blowing, and close to 3000 people enjoyed jam-packed blocks of car-free fun!
All the amazing volunteers, exhibitors, performers, and Tenderloin neighbors, nonprofits, and businesses made June 23rd an incredible day for Sunday Streets Tenderloin and the Eid Al-Adha Mubarak Block Party.
As covered in the SF Chronicle by reporter Sam Whiting, “S.F.’s roving block parties return with promise of ‘pedestrian oasis’ in a neighborhood that needs it.”
Thank you as well to Mayor London Breed, Supervisor Dean Preston, and SFMTA Director Jeffrey Tumlin for joining in the festivities and supporting Sunday Streets.
